Sin embargo, éstas <i style="font-weight: bold;">pueden variar de pronunciación para oídos extranjeros</i>. La primera consonante indica la pronunciación que se escucha al comienzo de la palabra, y la segunda, cuando no sea así.</span> <span style="font-size:130%;">Por ejemplo, en el caso de la palabra <span style="font-weight: bold;">비비다</span>, ( frotar), se escucha como <i>pibida</i>.<br /><br />Las consonantes <span style="font-size:180%;"> ㅊ, ㅋ ,ㅌ </span>y <span style="font-size:180%;">ㅍ </span> son <i>aspiradas</i>, es decir, van seguidas de un soplo de aire, de forma análoga a las aspiradas del inglés. </span><br /><br /><span style="font-size:130%;">El carácter <b>ㄱ</b> se pronucia <b>k</b> o también <b>g</b> si se encuentra entre vocales.<br /><br />La consonante <b>ㅂ</b> suena siempre <b>b</b> excepto a final de sílaba, donde se dice <b>p</b>.<b><br /><br />ㅅ</b> es pronunciado somo <b>s</b>. En <a href="http://www.learnkorean.com/lesson/lesson2.asp"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Learnkorean.com</span></a> podéis escuchar la pronunciación nativa de cada sonido en formato <span style="font-weight: bold;">mp3</span>, simplemente clickando sobre el <span style="font-style: italic;">jamo </span>correspondiente, con lo cual me ahorro describirlos yo mismo.<br /><br />¿Notáis las diferencias entre ㅜ y ㅡ , y entre ㅗ y ㅓ? Las dos primeras (ㅜ y ㅗ) son las que más parecen aproximarse a nuestra pronunciación de la <span style="font-weight: bold;">u</span> y de la <span style="font-weight: bold;">o</span> (sin ser del todo iguales, de hecho, si os fijáis bien, notaréis que la o coreana ㅗ es bastante más redondeada que nuestra<span style="font-weight: bold;"> o</span>). En cambio, los otros dos sonidos (ㅡ y ㅓ ) son una u y una o pronunciadas sin redondear la boca.<br /><br />Acabo de decir más arriba que la sílaba coreana debe comenzar siempre por <span style="font-weight: bold;">consonante</span>. Sin embargo, al fijarnos en los nombres de las letras vemos que todos ellos empiezan por vocal, y de hecho hay muchas sílabas coreanas que, al menos cuando las vemos romanizadas, parece que efectivamente empiezan por vocal, como por ejemplo el <span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">an</span> de <span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">annyeong</span>, el saludo que da nombre a este blog. ¿Cómo es esto posible?<br /><br />Para evitar quebrantar la regla de que la sílaba ha de empezar por una consonante, la vocal en cuestión ha de ir precedida de la letra <span style="font-weight: bold;font-size:130%;" >ㅇ</span>, llamada en coreano 이응 (<span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">i-eung</span>) y que equivale a una consonante muda, que está ahí pero que no se pronuncia (al igual que nuestra h, para hacernos una idea).<br /><br />Es decir, que por ejemplo, la sílaba <span style="font-weight: bold;">u</span> estaría formada por la combinación de estos dos caracteres:<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;font-size:180%;" >ㅇ</span> (i-eung) + <span style="font-size:180%;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">ㅜ</span></span> (u) >>> <span style="font-weight: bold;font-size:180%;" >우</span> (<span style="font-weight: bold;">u</span>)<br /><br />La letra ㅇ se coloca encima de la vocal si ésta es una de las cinco vocales horizontales (ㅗ,ㅛ,ㅜ,ㅠ, y ㅡ ). En el caso de las vocales verticales ( ㅏ, ㅑ ,ㅓ, ㅕ y ㅣ ) la <span style="font-style: italic;">i</span><span style="font-style: italic;">-eung</span> se coloca a su izquierda, como podemos ver en este ejemplo, la sílaba <span style="font-weight: bold;">a</span>:<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;font-size:180%;" >ㅇ</span> (i-eung) + <span style="font-size:180%;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">ㅏ</span></span> (a) >>> <span style="font-weight: bold;font-size:180%;" >아</span> (<span style="font-weight: bold;">a</span>)<br /><br />Estas dos sílabas arriba descritas forman de hecho una palabra coreana real:<br /><br /><span style="font-size:130%;">우아</span> <span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">ua </span>(=gracia, suavidad).<br /><br />(Si os fijáis bien en la tabla de arriba del todo, veréis que los mismos nombres coreanos de las <span style="font-style: italic;">jamo </span>son una muestra de cómo utilizar dichas vocales como sílabas para formar palabras).<br /><br />En la sílaba 안 <span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">an</span> de 안녕 <span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">annyeong</span>, vemos que ocurre lo mismo, primero aparece la letra ㅇ <span style="font-style: italic;">i-eung</span> y a su lado la vocal ㅏ <span style="font-weight: bold;">a</span>, como acabamos de ver, con el añadido de que debajo de ambas, que ocupan la parte superior del carácter silábico, aparece la consonante ㄴ <span style="font-weight: bold;">n</span>, que estudiaremos más adelante.<br /><br />De momento no es demasiado complicado, ¿verdad? Hoy, 19 de febrero del año 2010, nace el que será mi tercer blog. Se llama "<span style="font-weight: bold;">안녕 Annyeong</span>" (pronunciado <span style="font-style: italic;">aniong</span>), que quiere decir simplemente "Hola" en coreano. No es precisamente el colmo de la originalidad, ¿verdad? Pero teniendo en cuenta mis aún nulos conocimientos de gramática coreana no tenía muchas más opciones, y tampoco se me ha ocurrido nada mejor, para seros sincero.<br /><br />El blog tratará precisamente sobre eso, sobre el estudio de la lengua coreana, que como ya sabéis los que me seguís a través de mi otro blog, <a href="http://katsuhouse.blogspot.com/"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Katsu House</span></a>, he empezado a acometer por mi cuenta desde hace unas semanas. Es algo en plan "hobby", una distracción para los ratos libres si queréis verlo así, porque hasta que tenga ocasión de ponerme a aprender coreano en serio en algún centro de enseñanza me temo que aún va a pasar mucho, mucho tiempo (por eso ya os adelanto que lo normal será que este blog no se actualice con demasiada frecuencia, pero procuraré no tenerlo muy parado).<br /><br />Y entonces seguramente me preguntaréis... <span style="font-style: italic;">"oye, Katsu, y cómo es que, sin saber aún coreano, vas y abres un blog para enseñar coreano? ¿Acaso te has dado un golpe en la cabeza que te haya dejado sin alguna de tus cuatro neuronas? "</span><br /><br />¡Meec! Error. Este no es un blog para ENSEÑAR coreano, ni muchísimo menos, sino una simple herramienta para ayudarme a aprenderlo yo mismo, una especie de recopilación de apuntes y de recursos, de todo lo que yo vaya viendo por mi cuenta, simplemente con el fin de tener esos conocimientos reunidos y siempre a mano, que vosotros podáis dejarme vuestras sugerencias y opiniones (sobre todo si hay gente que ya sepa el idioma sus comentarios serán especialmente bienvenidos, por supuesto)... y si además logro picaros la curiosidad por esta lengua y que vosotros también os animéis a aprenderla o por lo menos a familiarizaros con ella, pues mejor que mejor.<br /><br />En la medida que me sea posible intentaré poner también material audiovisual, archivos mp3 o <span style="font-style: italic;">podcasts </span>con muestras de hablantes nativos, para ir familiarizándome también con la pronunciación coreana, que es algo más complicada que la japonesa y requiere bastante práctica. En Internet, por fortuna, hay bastantes recursos gratuitos para estudiar idiomas, también coreano, así que en principio es algo que no debería suponerme un gran problema.<br /><br />Y tras esta introducción, en breve tendréis aquí el primer post, en el que empezaremos a adentrarnos en los misterios de la escritura y la fonética coreana. En cuanto a la escritura, llamada 한글 <span style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">hangeul </span>(que se pronuncia algo así como <span style="font-style: italic;">hangul</span>), ya veréis que a pesar de que parece muy complicada a primera vista, en realidad es bastante sencilla, ya que no son ideogramas como los kanji sinojaponeses, sino un alfabeto formado por vocales y consonantes, las cuales se organizan en forma de caracteres silábicos de una forma bastante original e ingeniosa. Aunque en realidad también es necesario conocer los kanji (llamados 한자 <span style="font-style: italic;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">hanja</span> </span>en coreano, pronunciado <span style="font-style: italic;">hanya</span>) y sus lecturas propias coreanas, pero estando familiarizados con ellos ya de antemano gracias al japonés, esa puede considerarse por ahora una cuestión menor.<br /><br /></span><span style="font-size:130%;">Pues nada, comienza oficialmente la andadura de este blog. 안녕 una vez más a todos, y bienvenidos.
